The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is likely to arrive for most flagships smartphones of 2015 before the end of the year. Lenovo and Huawei are working on Android 6.0 upgrade for their smartphones.

It seems that Lenovo has finally revealed on its support page the list of devices that will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. According to the list, the A7000, A7000 Plus, Viber P1, Viber S1 and K3 Note will be the first Lenovo smartphones that will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

The official Android Upgrade Matrix Support page of Lenovo had stated that A7000, A7000 Plus and K3 Note would receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in September 2016. The Vibe S1 and Vibe P1 smartphones would be updated to Android 6.0 in June 2016.

Most of the leading smartphone brands like Samsung, Sony, Motorola and so on are working on releasing the Android 6.0 upgrade for their smartphones as soon as possible. However, since Chinese smartphone makers customize the Android updates before releasing them, there is a delay before the latest Android build becomes available to the user.

According to the official tweet, all the Honor series handsets which include Honor 4C, Honor 4X, Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus, and Honor 7 will be receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in February 2016.
